The TRAINERS METHODOLOGY LEVEL I consists
of competencies a TVET trainer performing functions of trainer and assessor
must achieve. A TVET trainer is a person who enables a learner or a group of
learners to develop competencies to performing a particular trade or technical
work.
In the assessment and in your training session the competency
(trainers Methodology I) will focus on the CORE COMPETENCIES
CORE COMPETENCIES

Plan training sessions
It includes: identifying learner’s requirements, preparing
session plan, preparing instructional materials and organizing learning and
teaching and assessment resources.

Facilitate learning sessions
It
covers the following: preparing
training session, conducting pre-assessment, facilitating training session, conducting
competency assessment and reviewing delivery of training session.
|
|
Supervise Work-based learning
establishing
training requirements for trainees, monitoring work-based training, and
reviewing and evaluating work-based learning effectiveness to supervise
work-based learning process.

|
Conduct competency assessment
It
details the requirements for organizing assessment activities, preparing the
candidate, gathering and evaluating evidence, making assessment decision,
recording and providing feedback on assessment outcome.

|
Maintain training facilities
Includes implementing
housekeeping activities and maintaining training systems, equipment, tools, materials and documents.
|
|
Utilize electronic media in facilitating training
using electronic media in facilitating training, including
operation and maintenance of the equipment.

Graduate of baccalaureate degree or
equivalent in training/experience along the field of Technical -Vocational
Education and Training
·
Certified at the same or higher NC Level in
the qualification that will be handled (for technical trainers)
·
Able to communicate orally and in writing
·
Physically fit and mentally healthy
·
Proficient in quantitative and qualitative
analysis
·
Proficient in verbal reasoning.

assessment/exam will compose of three
parts.:
1.
Written
exam(it will base on your outputs during the training so you better
remember what you did and what you illustrated. there is a little bit of
enumeration mostly from core competency)
2.
Demonstration
(you have to bring students where you have to demonstrate your teaching skills)
3.
Oral
Questioning (the question and answer portion. It will
base on the Self Assessment Guide.
Most of the questions will depend on the assessor. So read those
pdf’s and handout during your training)

Good morning madam i want to apply as a accessor of smaw welder what undergo traing and seminars to be taken...
ReplyDeleteIn 2011 i enrolled a smaw welder in PTC here in Bataanand after a month of traning i will passed the assessmnet and i have a NCll..In year 2012 i got a jod in BATAAN REFINARY as a iron worker welder fabricator in one korean company in RMP2 landbase project and i work in 2 years...some of my co-workers are smaw and gtaw welder i ask to my co-workers teach me in gtaw process i actually learn basic welding skill in GTAW and every breaktime i practice to weld and i learn...
Before i finish my contract i try to tradetest as a smaw/gtaw...and i certified as a TIG welder in the company..
After a month when i finish my contract i try to apply to other korean company as a tig-welder and i passed all the trade test 6g combination welder with NDT pass result and qualification id...
So may question is can i take again the assesment in welding to become a trainor or undergo training methology to before i apply in TESDA as a trainro accessor...
